Allianz RCM Brazil Fund: the Best of Brazil

With the World Cup and the Olympics being hosted in the next six years, Brazil is ready to take its place on the world stage
Allianz RCM Brazil Fund

The Allianz RCM Brazil Fund is the first OEIC in the UK to exclusively target the Brazilian market.

Drawing upon the expertise gained from running the highly successful Allianz RCM BRIC Stars Fund, this exciting new vehicle holds around 30-50 Brazilian stocks. It also has the flexibility to invest up to 30% of its assets in other Latin American markets or in overseas companies, provided they generate a significant proportion of their sales and/or earnings in Brazil or we can reasonably anticipate that an increasing proportion of their sales/earnings will be generated in Brazil.

In late August, Michael Konstantinov, Fund Manager of the Allianz RCM Brazil Fund, visited Brazil on one of his regular research trips.

Whilst there he attended an investment conference and visited company management, ensuring that his personal knowledge base was as up-to-date as possible.

Allianz RCM Brazil Fund brochure

Allianz RCM Brazil Fund: so much more than you imagine

Think of Brazil and you might conjure up images of the Copacabana Beach, Carnival, the Amazon rainforest – or even the wizardry of their world-famous football team. Rarely, though, would it be in the context of an outstanding investment opportunity.

Brazil is already the world’s ninth largest economy, and its GDP is predicted to overtake the UK’s as early as 2012*. By 2050 this Latin
American giant is projected to rank fourth globally in terms of GDP**.

It is no exaggeration to say that the country is rapidly becoming a financial colossus. With a thriving middle class, Brazil is seeing a surge in consumerism, greatly increasing domestic demand.
